The Fabulous Baker Boy

Ello!
Upcoming long weekend, whoop! What are your plans?

We were supposed to check Selfish Gene Cafe out but due to time constraint, we settled for Wild Honey instead!
Though lunch was alittle rush (to make it on time for Django Unchained), it was still a satisfying meal. As always :')

Psst, please go catch this movie, if you havent!
Great director, good script & an awesome cast :D

Anyway back to our meals. I had Portobello Road
and Boulevard St. Michel for the mister (:
New cafe alert >
The Fabulous Baker Boy at River Valley Road!
It is a nice and spacious place but it can get a little too warm in the afternoon.
Mostly alfresco seating (only have 3 indoor seats)

I love how they recycled the pellets and used them as furniture though! Creative!
Menu is not extremely extensive, they still have cakes, pasta, sandwiches and what not.
FYI there is no food in the afternoon and dinner only starts at 6.30pm (:

Apparently the Red Velvet cake at The Fabulous Baker Boy is good.
Saw the chef preparing it on the spot, it sure looks pretty appetizing :P
I’m sure it’s not called The Fabulous Baker Boy for nothing ;)
And so, we only had tea as we were still feeling full from lunch haha
Didn’t feel that the beverage was very value for money and service was quite slow but
I love the peace quiet tranquility this place has to offer (:
The view from where we were seated.
Never knew Clark Quay looks so vibrant in the day :|
In between, I caught another movie, Side Effects before ending the night at Timbre with the Goodfellas ^^
GIVE but dont allow yourself to be USED.
LOVE but dont allow your heart to be ABUSED.
TRUST but dont be NAIVE.
LISTEN to others but dont lose your own VOICE.
