Shida Night Market

Its Sunday today! :D
Whats everybody up to? 

Few years back, Shilin Night Market was listed as one of the must-go places in Taipei City but not anymore!
Shida Night Market has taken over!
Personally, I feel Shida is just a mini version of Shilin. Still prefer the latter :\

If you traveling by train, this will be the station to alight for Shida.
Great for my future reference as well hees!

Most of the clothes, accessories and footwear are imported from Korea. 

My advice to you is just window shop (buy only if you really like it) &

head to WuFengPu (wholesale shopping area) to source for the exact same piece! Why?

Cos WFP definitely sells at a much cheaper price even before bargaining! #SpoilMarket :P

Its not very long though. Shida is more for shopping than feasting.

Bought the garlic fried chicken cubes and sweet potato fries. Ain't impressive :(

Po Lo Bun

I was told the buns have cheese in them but in fact, the locals mistook butter as cheese! Anticlimax :|

Monday's crowd >.<

One of the popular stalls selling 滷味. Huge variety to choose from but mainly are just

assorted types of mushrooms, vegetables, beancurd and marinated parts of the pig.

Check out the crowd gathering around the stall :O

No order # will be given. So how would you know whose order is whose right?

The lady will specify a few items from each order & if its yours, you'll step forward to "claim".
Amazingly, there was no mixed-up whatsoever. Impressive!

This is what we chose! Chup-bu-lan ^.^ 

I haven't had the chance to go Shilin Night Market yet as 

the local strongly despised that place now due to overcrowding of China citizen! 

Nevertheless, I'll probably still visit regardless of it all.
