In life, it's really important to have true friends. We don't need to have many BFFs, just a handful is sufficient to keep us blessed.
His good buddy, John even made a video from the night! How sweet...and gay! Hahaha!
On Saturday, it was brunch date with my smellie sista :D
I always look forward to seeing her cause I know we can always count on one another for comfort and some TLC, if needed.

You can’t talk about brunches and not
talk about Wild Honey.
Still one of the hottest places to go for
all-day breakfasts, you can almost always expect a line when you’re at
their Mandarin Gallery outlet.
Thankfully, it wasn't too long a wait. Maybe the distraction we had helped :P
Smiley lattes (Hazelnut & Roasted Almond) to kick start our Saturday morning :D

While there is a plethora of
egg-related items to choose from, I decided to try their All Truff'd Up!
I was like Mmmm...this is heavenly on the first mouth! ITS THAT GOOD!
The dish consist of two softly
poached eggs nestled on truffle brioche toasts, asparagus, truffle &
creme fraiche sauce & finished with a generous shaving of summer
black truffles from Italy.
M had the Scandinavian. Both of us really loved our orders except that we prefer Wild Honey to
be more generous with their sauce. It was too dry towards the end :\
Quick snaps while making our way to catch Snow White & The Huntsman (:
So glad I manged to catch it before it ends. So damm good!
It was also 端午节 on Saturday.
I remembered the red bean dumpling at Din Tai Fung was really nice.
So when I heard over the radio that its available again this year, I knew I had to have it! #yumm
Jie came over on Sunday with her signature banana walnut bread ^^
Its been some time since I last had it and it still taste as delicious. Still awaiting for the recipe so I can bake it personally. Heh.
Met up with SP later in the evening to try Tonkatsu by Ma Maison.
This place is highly raved by our local bloggers so we decided to try (:
Appetisers
Hungary Mangalica Rosu Katsu (Ask the staff for this cause its not in the main menu.)
Meat is on the fatty side. Definitely not your first choice if you prefer your fillet to have less fat :X
Prawn Katsu Set
Life should be this simple!
