Rich & Good Cake Shop

Besides my durian fix last week,
I also made a (separate) trip down Kandahar Street for some swiss rolls :P

Amidst the cafes and bars, there is a humble old school shopfront which specialize in
swiss rolls, acclaimed to some the best in Singapore!
There are also cookies, eclairs and walnut cake for sale too (:

 Rich & Good Cake Shop
24 Kandahar Street
Tel: 62943324
Each roll is 7.50$ (Prices has been increasing over the years tskk)
They come in long boxes coloured in a gentle peachy shade. Sweet!
Swiss rolls here are fluffy, dense, fine and soft!
The ample layers of moist filling make it quite an enjoyable treat & just keep you reaching out for more!
It is also not too sweet, which is what most (health conscious) locals prefer nowadays (:

The best-selling flavor > Kaya Roll
The creamy kaya filling is so rich and fragrant.
Ahhh..How I missed it so much! D:
Green Tea Roll
Being a red bean/green tea combination fan, how can I not order this!? Lol
But I was a tad disappointed.
The green tea taste was distinguishable but there was more cream then red bean <(

Noticed that there's no wastage at the sides?
They are sold in their whole, uncut forms & I actually like ends of cakes hees :P
Durian Roll w authentic chucks of D24 durian flesh
Shiok level 100
The best feeling in the world is
when the person you like, likes you back
knowing that you actually mean something to someone
when he tightens his arms around you

& the worst feeling?
saying goodbye to someone you want to spend every minute with.
