Birthday Treats

Time flies! It'll be the end of January in a couple of days time :'(
January is a month of birthday celebrations & this occasion usually calls for dinner with the family.
This year was no exception, the pop treated us to two sumptuous dinners in one week :P

Celebrated the bro's at Spring Court Restaurant.
52-56 Upper Cross Street Singapore 058348
A virtual picture of the cold crab to whip up an appetite.
We pre ordered a few signature dishes & this is one of them, Popiah.
Refreshing dish to start the meal.
Scallop x Beancurd
Another item we pre ordered cos it looked very appetizing on the website!
Proportion of the crab meat and salted egg york was perfect! Must try (:
Up next was my favorite of the entire meal - Claypot Chilli Crab.
The thickness and spiciness was just right and together with the fried buns..one word : heavenly!
Mango Coconut Roll
Award wining Boiled Hashima in Coconut which the manager assured, "If not nice, we won't charge you!" :O
If you are looking for a place to hold a family gathering, Spring Court is an ideal place.
Good food with friendly staff at a reasonable price!

Mine was at The Cut @ Marina Bay Sands, B1 Shoppes Area :D
I definitely had the better deal here #ToBeTheYoungestOfTheFamily hees!
Pardon the grainy and dark images as the lighting was really dim :|
Assorted bread for starters
Every mouthful of the appetizers was simply divine!
The parents had chicken and the rest of us went for their signature steak cuts :D
I still remember very clearly how amused we were when the waiter was describing this dish!
He specifically mentioned that this is a very special chicken cos its only 2mths old &
we were like wondering why the strong emphasis on 2mths harharhar

We know chicken can be boring at times but you definitely had to try this!
The meat was so succulent and well-marinated that I just went wow after the first bite.
Would it taste as good if it wasn't 2mths old? I wondered :P
No doubt, The Cut is one of the best steak houses I been to!
The Japanese Wagyu i had was so tender, so flavorful & ohh so fatty :P
Tried the American cuts and they are tougher which I am not a fan of.
Almost full house on a weekday night with a good mix of family and dating couples (:
The meal wouldn't be complete without dessert right? ^^
Precious family precious times

You can be right legally but wrong relationally.
It is not about merely abiding by the rules, but abiding & treasuring the relationships.
