2012 2012 Today | Are We All Gonna Perish Tomorrow?

Hello!

I am still recovering from food poisoning since last Saturday

and spent the entire weekend running to the loo and nursing a bad headache :( 

Still trying to regain my appetite. So for now, its still one full meal per day :|

If you've been reading the previous entries, you'll know that I've shared quite a few popular Taiwan areas such as
JiuFen, Ximenting, Gongguan District & numerous night markets etc.
To add on to the list, I'm here to share with you the last installment of my Taiwan's Food Travelogue :D

YongKang Street > Dongmen Station, Exit 5.
Once exited from the station, turn right on the first street you see (:

Within 3-5 minutes walk, you'll probably see a long queue at the corner.
First thought : "Must be food!" Am sure you'll be curious to know what kinda food right? I would be teehee

It turns out to be a very common street food > Green Onion Pancake 葱油饼 :|
In fact, you be surprised that around Taiwan some street stalls are worth queuing for ;)

As you read on, you'll see why hees

The signboard is not lighted up so you probably can't really see but it says 芋头大王.
Was recommended to try & I felt it was overpriced! I had better ones at a much cheaper price :X

But check out how huge the yam blocks are on the top shelf! :O

On a closer look

Pass by many Japanese Ramen rstns & practically every single one was packed.
Mm not sure if its because of dinner time or its really good? #Skeptical

Decided on Mixed Fruits.
Apparently, Japan & Taiwan are the pioneers in creating the smooth shaved ice in assorted flavors (:
Love the mango most. So chunky & sweet!

Was back the following week for their Matcha Red Bean takeaway :P

By the way, have you heard about the rumor??
According to the Maya Tribe, they predicted that the world will come to an end on 21.12.2012 which is tomorrow!! :OO
Obviously, everyone is doubtful and to a certain extent, think its nonsense too.
Everyone's routine will still be the same & for some, plans for 2013 have also been rolled out...

BUT WHAT IF THE PREDICTIONS ARE TRUE??
