Taipei Travelogue > JiuFen，九份

My first visit to Jiufen last month & I love this rustic town!
A place of great scenery & delicious food. Best combination ever!

Thanks to W, I got to skip the hassle of taking public transport :P

PS: But if you're taking bus/train, the nearest stop is Rui Fang. 

Train schedules can be found online & tixs from Taipei Main Station.

There will be frequent public bus services from Rui Fang to Jiufen (:

This shop is somewhere in the middle of Jiufen Street and is pretty crowded.

Handmade vermicelli & fish balls.
In Taiwan, as long as anything is handmade, it will be well-received lol

Finally!! 

JiuFen is famous for 芋圆 so this is a definite must have!!

A total of 3 flavors > Yam, Sweet Potato and Green Tea.
Both of us shared a bowl of mix flavors & I totally regretted it hahah!

My favorite dishes were the salmon salad, smoked pork shoulder & Thai-style steamed fish :B

One valuable lesson I learnt that night is the art of smile & nod when all you want is to punch them in the face!  

One of the guys was being really annoying albeit too much beer consumed :\

Nevertheless, I had an amazing day & thats all it matters (:
