I mentioned finally is because I always change my mind NOT to get them every time I have the chance to :| I weird like this.

Decide to try out Orange Upside Down Cake from SimplyHer this week after seeing how easy the steps are.

All you need for the cake batter is butter, sugar, fresh milk, flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda & eggs. 

And choice of fruits is up to you. Try plums, bananas, apples, mangoes etc. Thinking of using peach for the next attempt :D

 

My mom is probably the only one in the world who will say, "Mother's Day, so whut?" LOL  

She doesn't need luxurious gits or expensive dinners to make her Mother's Day complete. 

HOW RARE! My dad is so lucky cos he saves so much :P

 

Got momsie a D24 durian cake from Angie The Choice. She mentioned that it was really good & true to her recommendation, IT IS!!

Both the sponge cake and the durian mousse are mild and light in a nice way. It isn't too overpowering or sweet - we could eat more of it at one go! It has a balanced cake-to-durian mousse ratio.

I wanted to try Marc Jacobs Splash Tropical Collection but was recommended Gucci Flora Garden Collection instead.
