Food Glorious Food

I don't wana miss to say "Happy Valentine's Day!" to my blogfam <3
Because of you, this blog grew from someone out of curiosity registered to blogspot.com to being inspired to share my life and inner thoughts.
At times, I find writing entries really challenging. My thoughts will be all over the place and it will take me ages just to phrase a feeling in the most accurate and real way...nevertheless, i will try my best to deliver interesting posts for you guys :P

Last Saturday, gf and i went to check out Scotts Square to see if there's any interesting place to have lunch. And we chanced upon Delicious Cafe. What a cliche name. ><

Upon first look, the theme is very Tiffany n co. Almost the same shade of blue!
Gals who are fans of T&C will love this place. It feels like T&C has branched out to F&B business too haha

Even the menu is in blue >< Dessert selection for all the sweet tooth out there!

We ordered a salad, a main (4 cheese macaroni) and a dessert (macadamia cheesecake) to share between us :)

Don't be deceived by the name though. It is actually plain cheesecake with macadamia nuts/caramel on the top -.-" And this cheesecake doesn't melt in your mouth..unlike the ones from Hilton or Fullerton.

The night ended with a low-key dinner @La Noms. Mad crowded everywhere ><

We set the alarm at 7am just to wake up in time for this! :| But its all worth it for the salted custard bun :D SATISFACTION

For the rest of the Sunday, i was baking away while SP being the genuine pig! :P
My 2nd attempt at banana bread was a success! Texture was even closer to perfection and the extra crushed walnut really made a difference.
On the other hand, my 1st attempt at red velvet cupcakes wasn't as good! #FAIL :( oh well, practice makes perfect right?

Come back again soon for my next few posts on my VD surprise, KF's farewell lunch and ladies nightout at butter factory....! And i have gotten hold of the awesome pictures from MBS!!!!
