we went Sentosa...finally!

Hi guys!
Mmm, so here i am sharing how we spent our last Sunday together.
It was slightly different from the usual weekends cos we are celebrating my birthday...in advance :)
(the actual day is 9th which fell on Monday. boo.)

So the boyf organized a trip to sentosa!! He been saying, "Lets go sentosa someday! They have so many interesting places we should check out!" i bet he arranged this trip so he can cross it out from his to-go-places as well :p

The first stop : The Cable Car Ride
For most countries which i have traveled to, i have sat on their cable car rides but never did i sat in my own country before! >< its always this case right? The same speaks for casino, amusement parks and all other tourist spots.

The newly designed cable cars ^^

*It was drizzling thus the white spots on the pictures :[
The ride starts from Mount Faber, The Jewel Box with a stop at Maple Tree Tower and the final stop at Sentosa

<3
Singapore Cable Car Museum New Ambassador! :D
Just a little information to share :)

You have no idea how excited we were posing with the empty cabin! >< Couple of cheap thrills.
Apparently, when they were going through a revamp, you are allowed to buy one of this!
There was an article on which a father bought and placed it in his garden :X

Finally on Sentosa ground!!
Queuing in the beach tram line right infront of iFly. Have you heard about iFly? Supposedly to experience the same feeling as you would parachuting from the plane but this is indoors. Professional tutorials is provided. I think more information on the adventure can be found on their website (:

I got bored and snapped a lady who seem to love animal prints ALOT! :P

Us on the tuh-tuh train :D

The 2nd Stop : Animal Encounters
We were too early for the 4.30pm timing and it will only last for 15mins -.-" And the previous 3.30pm show is cancelled due to the rain. Thus, we decide to forgo and come back the next time.
The famous bridge on Palawan Beach. I never knew it was on this beach. :|

The main stop : Tanjong Beach Club (TBC)!!!
I heard so much about this place, mostly about how SPG it is and how they cling on to the Caucasians! Hahaha!
On the good side, i also heard the water is clearer and the sand is finer :)

Occasionally, Sarong Parties and Full Moon Parties are held @TBC

I find TBC's concept similar to Cafe Del Mar's as in both are beach bars. Indoors, alfresco or bar seating are provided for both food and drinks.
If you haven't heard/read about it, Cafe Del Mar will be closing/has closed down!! (not sure of the exact closing date).

cranberry mojito + some pear n green apple wine + quesadilla
Simple pleasure sitting by the pool enjoying the food, drinks, breeze, beautiful bods and everything else nature has to offer :)

We decided to shift to another location to have a different view of the beach and most importantly, to have an unblocked view of the sunset :D
Just like the airplane sky shots, every sunset is exclusive. The way clouds are formed and the direction it floats vary from day to day. So if you happen to have a clear view at whenever you are during sunset time, stop and enjoy the awesome view.
Almost too engrossed in viewing the sunset, we had to rush off for our dinner reservation. Supposed to have buffet but changed our mind and had thai food @Thanying Restaurant instead.
In my opinion, Thanying serve one of the best thai food.
The standard dishes most people will order : Tom Yum Soup, Boneless Chicken, Green/Red Curry, Pineapple Rice..and their Mango with Glutinous Rice. Yummy.
The Final Stop : Song of The Sea
We had seen similar production at Haikou last year which personally, i prefer more.
The effects created in Haikou was all done through hundreds of people' coordination and precise tining whereas only 6-7 performers for song of the sea and they emphasized on powerful surges of water to create the various effects.
Nevertheless, still magnificent :D

This marks the end of our day in Sentosa :<

I want to say it's nice to meet you, and it's nice to be able to tell you not just what wonderful you been doing. But what wonderful patience and kindness you have that made my day just a little bit brighter.
Thank you for everything!
