this Chinese New Year has been a rather quiet one for everyone in my family.
we didn’t/not suppose to do any visiting this year because of Grandma’s demise being less than a year.
(but i guess the younger generation doesn't really follow this)
so I was pretty much at home on both days, just a visit or two to my other grumps' place

but i did indulge in a good share of steamboats and Louhei too :D
just for an update, heres 5 things that happened/i did last week (visiting aside)
1) caught 2 movies (jack & jill and one for the money)
2) dinner dates at Pizza Hut and Nikon Mana
3) butter factory on friday! (so crowded)

4) salon vim + complimentary shiseido beauty makeover ^^
5) steamboat dinner at the boyf's group gathering + Louhei on 初七
haven't been bringing my camera out haha, so no pictures for some occasions :|
stepped out for a laid-back dinner together @nikon mana.
pretty interesting concept they have for ala-carte menu.
you need to select the ice-cream sticks labelled with the names/code nos. of the food and put in the little basket provided. after which, place the basket at the counter and the staff will serve according to the ice cream sticks.
the bill came up to about $15/pax.
